We're Officially Canadian!

Phew what an exciting week it's been! On the 8th December (just a little over 6 months from when we sent off our applications) we joined 43 other people from 20 different countries in the center of Halifax, Nova Scotia to take our oaths and become Canadian Citizens! Luckily my mum is on holiday with us visiting from the UK so she was able to join us along with Paul's family for the ceremony and afterwards in our celebrations. When we applied the CIC website said it would take 2 yrs to process applications so it's not really sunk in yet that we've finished everything already. We're now looking forward to our first Christmas as Canadians!!
